Archie Desk
Archie Desk
Archie can now run a paper trading desk. Events wake playbooks, Archie proposes a decision, reviewers vote, and fills land on a platform paper book you can inspect.
Paper book. Not financial advice.
Archie Desk records paper decisions. It does not place unsupervised live broker orders. Live-gated approvals still require a human and do not auto-send a ticket.
Who can use it
- Any signed-in user can open /desk, subscribe to the platform pack, and read runs and positions.
- Paid Research users can add watcher slots (default limit 10). Free accounts have a watcher limit of 0.
- The paper book is the shared Archie platform book, not a per-user brokerage account.
What you see
- Runs — trigger, playbook kind, instrument, proposed action, execution status, and pack.
- Paper book — open and closed positions with fills, stops, and realized P&L.
- Strategy packs — subscribe to the Golden Cross Trend pack (more packs can be added later).
- Watchers — paid users can pin symbols Archie should classify as material.
- Live-gated approvals — if a pack is live-gated, pending human approvals appear here. Approving still books a paper fill; it does not send a broker order.
Lifecycle
- A detector or feed creates an event (golden cross, death cross, COT, EIA, price alert, watcher, stop proximity).
- Position awareness routes the event to entry or monitor. If the name is already open and the pack does not allow scale-in, the run is skipped.
- Archie loads the playbook, the book snapshot, and tools, then calls
propose_decision. - Review playbooks vote. Quorum fail or a designated veto rejects the proposal.
- Passed decisions execute on the paper book. Hard stops and time stops can exit without a model vote.
