Playbooks, not vibes
Entry, review, and monitor playbooks live in versioned packs. The first platform pack is Golden Cross Trend: 50/200 SMA crosses, regime and positioning reviews, then a monitor that can hold, tighten, or exit.
Review quorum
Archie proposes. Review playbooks vote pass, fail, or abstain. A news veto can block a trade. Majority must agree before a paper fill is booked.
Hard stops in code
Stops, time stops, and position limits are enforced by the monitor job — not negotiated by the model. Live-gated intents still wait for a human and do not auto-send a broker ticket.

How a run works

  1. 1. A detector fires. A golden cross, death cross, COT update, EIA storage print, price alert, or watcher flag becomes an event.
  2. 2. Position awareness routes it. Flat books get entry playbooks. Open names get monitor playbooks. Duplicate names are skipped unless the pack allows scale-in.
  3. 3. Archie decides. Enter, skip, hold, tighten, scale out, or exit — with a written rationale and a book snapshot attached to the run.
  4. 4. Reviewers vote. Regime, positioning, and event playbooks vote. Quorum fail or a veto rejects the proposal.
  5. 5. The paper book updates. Fills, stops, and P&L land on Archie’s platform book. You can open the run or the position from the desk UI.

What this is not

  • Not a live broker. Paper fills update the ledger. Live-gated mode still requires a human and does not auto-place an order.
  • Not financial advice. Archie judges whether a detector instance is worth a paper trade. You keep the risk decision.
  • Not unsupervised. Kill switch, risk caps, and deterministic stops sit outside the model.
