"summary": "The speaker presents a bullish outlook for natural gas futures, citing a recent break above resistance and constructive price action across 4-hour, daily, and weekly charts. Key price targets are identified at $3.25, $3.50, and $3.75, with potential for further upside to $4.75 to fill earlier gaps. This analysis is reinforced by Commitment of Traders (COT) data, which indicates a short squeeze in managed money positions, alongside favorable seasonal trends and weather forecasts.",

"transcript": "Good morning everyone. Quick one minute update on natural gas futures this Monday morning. I covered this in the Sunday night live stream so go and check that out if you haven't already. But as I said on the stream, we've broken out of that resistance level, that horizontal line, and the market structure break. We surged through all the moving averages on Tuesday last week, through the 20, 50, 100, and 200, and now we've held that level. After repeatedly testing this level on Friday and now again since the Sunday night open, we're holding pretty well. Still under the 20-period moving average here on the 4-hour chart, but moving up. I do like the price action here with these three weeks bouncing off the horizontal line and the 50-period moving average. And on the D chart, it kind of looks pretty constructive too. There's the black line, much more clear on the day chart. Remember we've got this double tweezer top resistance level above us that I spoke about in the video that we have to get through. We rejected that level on Thursday and Friday with a one up, one down candle pattern with a wick up and a wick down forming a reversal pattern just under that tweezer top resistance and the moving average cluster of the 50 and the 100 periods right here. However, it's looking pretty constructive. We've got another tweezer bottom now on the day chart formed after that dip down since the close. We're moving up again into the moving average cluster. And I think if we can get above there on a 4-hourly basis, and particularly that level at 298, just below $3, we've got a good chance of moving up quite a lot higher. Next target above $3 is 325, 350, 375, where I think we'll pause. And then beyond that, we've got 425 all the way up to 475 to fill in some of the gaps that formed earlier in the year. Going back to the 4-hour chart, we've got a beautiful structure now. A close below that level, that tweezer bottom at the 50-period moving average and the horizontal line, it'll force me to hedge my position. We've got positions from much lower down, so we're still in profit at this stage, but I don't really want to give much of it back. We've also got a little volume gap over here which we seem to have bounced off back into the point of control over here, and now we've got to sort of get through that back into the empty zone just above us. So I think it all looks quite constructive. And considering the COT report and the sort of weather forecasts and the seasonal change, I think we've got a good chance of holding here and bouncing out. This is the weekly chart. We have to zoom really far in to see what's going on, but there you can see quite constructive really. Three weekly candles now, all bullish candles with at least, well, higher lows, not quite higher highs. We've got higher highs and higher lows on the two previous weeks. And what we want for this week is another higher low and also a higher high. And I'd like to get to the 200-period moving average here on the weekly chart. And that's at about $3 and 7 and a half cents. And then through there, I think we'll get up into the next cluster and then attack the 325 level, which has become increasingly more critical. Going back to the day chart, you can see where that level is over here, and I think that's our sort of main target. On the COT report, as I pointed out in the Sunday night live video, we're still way below seasonal average on the price. But we've seen some interesting swings. Commercials have added sort of 7,000 contracts, 7-8,000 contracts onto both sides, so still kind of hedged, not really directional. Producers doing exactly the same thing, adding 5 to 7,000 on each side, so presumably still hedging. But managed money on the other hand seems to be undergoing a bit of a short squeeze. We lost 24,000 contracts on the short side and added 3 and a half onto the long side. Non-commercials and swap dealers also swinging to the long side. And other reportables, mainly retail traders and smaller traders, still swinging even more to the short side. 21,000 contracts added to an existing 170,000 already, and taking a few hundred off the pretty small long side position. So really interesting. Managed money seems to be getting squeezed out of their shorts, whereas retail traders seem to be adding more to the short side, despite all of that that's going on. And despite the seasonal change and the weather change that's projected, and various demand factors that are creeping in. It seems like we may have some hurricane weather to disrupt LNG and transport and that sort of thing, which could actually push the price down a little bit. No, it doesn't always happen like that. All right, folks, well, I hope you enjoyed that. That was natural gas on this Monday morning. We're long and strong, aiming for 375. Good luck, you're probably going to need it. Take care. Bye.",
